Family Worship Center

Ministry Teams descriptions and serving schedules

WORSHIP (Spiritual Life)

Worship is Our Connection. Acts 17:28 “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” The plan of the Division of Worship is to keep Family Worship Center connected to God. As we lead this congregation in worship we are reminded that He is our strength and our sustainer and that without Him we can do nothing. We do this primarily through our Weekend Services.

Evangelism is Our Command. Luke 14:23 “…Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in so that My house will be full.” The plan of the Division of Evangelism is to mobilize Family Worship Center to fulfill God’s command to go into the “highways and hedges” and compel the lost to come in. We do this primarily through our outreach ministries such as Celebrate Recovery, FWC Connect Groups as well as our Weekend Service Teams like our Altar Workers Team.

Discipleship is Our Call. Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” The plan of the Division of Discipleship is to answer God’s call to make disciples of every person we meet. We do this primarily through the FWC Growth Track, Connect Groups, and Wednesday Night Bible Study.

CARE (Community)

Care is Our Concern. Galatians 6:10 “Therefore as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”  The plan of the Division of Care is to demonstrate the compassion of Christ by showing our concern for all people by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We do this primarily through our Elder Ministry Teams and Connect Group Leadership.
